Briar Maritime Services is a company of professional Marine Surveyors,
who take great pride in their integrity and independence. Thus
are able to best represent the interests of clientele wherever they
might
be. Marine surveyors and cargo inspectors are appropriately
qualified or experienced and are able to travel to vessels or overseas
sites at short notice. By maintaining a personal approach with our customers, Briar has
established a hard earned and positive reputation for a quality marine
consultancy service. In fact the company gained recognition for its
efforts when winning
a Telecom Small Business Award in 1990. Since then the company has
used this sound foundation to continually strive to provide the customer
with the individual marine consultancy service they deserve and at
world competitive rates.
Our cargo inspectors, trainers, and marine consultants are required
to keep themselves up to date with current industry practices, so
as
to be
able to present sound information and advice to the client on matters
relating to cargo inspection and survey and the maritime industry.
The senior marine surveyors and directors of the company are Captains
Anne Rutherford and Brian Peters, who between them hold a wealth
of practical
survey expertise. Not content to rest on this however, the management
have the will to push for continual improvement and the development
of new marine consultancy services to meet the challenge of the constant
change in shipping industry needs.
