Specialist Marine Training

Briar Maritime offers a range of specialist marine training and education packages which are both industry recognised and accredited to STCW95 requirements. Courses can be conducted for individuals as well as classes. As scheduling and venues can be arranged to the suit the clients' needs, Briar takes a great pleasure in assisting a client to meet their training commitments.

Industry or facility specific training can also be tailored to fit the customers direct needs.

Briar Maritime is also able to perform a training needs analysis, then develop a training package to target those needs. This obviously ensures that a training budget is more accurately and efficiently utilised.

Bulk Liquid Control Services

The measurement and loss control of bulk liquids, particularly oils and chemicals covers a wide range of activities with which Briar personnel are well acquainted. Ranging from the calibration of shore installation tanks or meters through any stage of the shipment process including shipboard measurement. Whether you are concerned with petroleum or vegetable oils, or industrial chemicals the measurement for fiscal or commercial purposes is extremely important. Briar can be of assistance regardless of whether you are utilising a dynamic or static measurement system.

High Speed Vessel Services

Briar Maritime Services has developed a range of services for owners, operators and suppliers of HS craft. These services range from simple crewing assistance and passage planning to a full delivery service.

Briar is also able to provide practical specialist operations, safety and ship handling training for new officers and crew.

P & I Correspondents

Briar Maritime Services acts as the correspondents for several P & I Clubs and act on their behalf in matters concerned with hull and machinery claims, cargo loss and / or damage, third party property and condition surveys for entry.

Consultants

Briar Maritime is able to offer their extensive marine surveying experience in the maritime industry to assist you in an advisory or research capacity. Where you might require an unbiased and independent report. Briar is able to undertake in depth studies on most commercial maritime projects. Audits
